Alain Camonier is founder and joint owner of Pallas Attorneys at Law, and he specialises in international employment law. He regularly publishes on various matters relating to employment law. Alain is co-author of Kluwer's Practical Guide Employment Law (Praktijkgids Arbeidsrecht), editor/author of Kluwer's Expat/Impat Handbook and author of the Toolkit Dutch Employment Law.

 Several times a year he lectures on new developments in employment law for the Chamber of Commerce. Alain was formerly a guest lecturer in employment law at the University Leiden, the HES School of Economics and Business in Rotterdam and at Nyenrode Business University.

Alain is a member of the Netherlands Bar Association,  the Amsterdam Association of Employment Lawyers, the Netherlands Employment Law Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association. He is also chairmain of the supervisory committee of the Dutch sector organization for recruitment, selection and executive search (Summum.nu).

Until mid-2008, Alain was partner within a large multidisciplinary law firm.
