Michelle Maaijen

Michelle Maaijen works as a lawyer at Pallas Employment Lawyers.

Michelle advises and litigates on behalf of national and international clients on a range of issues in the field of employment law, including employment agreements, changes to terms and conditions of employment, the law of dismissal (both individual and mass redundancy), employee participation, restructuring, non-competition clauses and equal treatment. Michelle is particularly specialised in International Employment Law.

In 2020, Michelle successfully completed the specialist course in Employment Law at the Grotius Academy.

Michelle is also editor of the magazine Loonzaken (SDU) and publishes regularly on a number of topics related to employment law.

From September 2016 to September 2018, Michelle was a committee member of the Amsterdam Young Bar Association. In addition, Michelle is a member of:

  • the Dutch Bar Association,
  • the Young Employment Lawyers Association (VJAA),
  • the Rotterdam Employment Lawyers Association (VRAA),
  • the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN),
