Per 1 July 2022 attorney-at-law Steven Jellinghaus (PhD) will strengthen the professional team of Pallas Employment Lawyers.
Steven Jellinghaus is a very experienced employment lawyer. As a Works Council specialist, he is considered one of the most renowned works council specialists in the Netherlands. Steven is often involved in complex governance and works council issues, both in the advisory practice and when going to court.
Steven’s experience and practice fit in seamlessly with the strategy of Pallas Employment Lawyers, as a premium boutique in the field of employment law and employee participation law with an international focus. The vision and strategy of Pallas Employment Lawyers – to continuously improve and propagate the distinctive services within the playing field of works councils and international employment law – will take further shape with Steven’s arrival.
Steven is widely known as a strategic attorney-at-law, with extensive litigation experience. Many works councils see Steven as its trusted advisor for complex proceedings and issues.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Steven is a mediator and is an assistant professor at Tilburg University. In 2003 Steven obtained his PhD on Harmonization of Employment Conditions. He has many publications to his name in the field of employment and employee participation law.
Steven is a member of various arbitration and advisory committees and is also a member of several editorial boards of legal journals.
The arrival of Steven Jellinghaus in 2022 is the third expansion for Pallas Employment Lawyers with a top specialist within a short period of time, in addition to Hans van Gijzen as Of Counsel (in 2020) and Maarten van Kempen as attorney-partner (in 2021).
