Pieter de Ruiter:

Legal advice that you can immediately put to good use

'Technology can interpret legal information, but it cannot assess what a situation truly requires. Employment law issues — whether they concern strategic decisions, negotiations or an employee participation process — require more than just a legal answer. Precisely at a time when AI is taking on more and more tasks, a lawyer’s personal contact and human judgement are becoming even more valuable. My added value lies not only in the legal interpretation of a situation, but in the discussion that follows: what does this mean for the organisation, what are the options, and how do you take the next step? Employment law must be legally sound and work in practice — for everyone who deals with it on a daily basis.'
