The latest edition of the International Labour Law Network (ILLN) Newsletter is out!

This month’s issue focuses on the European Works Council (EWC), an important instrument for cross-border employee participation in Europe. The newsletter provides an overview of how EWCs are regulated and applied in various European countries.

From the Netherlands, Angelet Veldscholte, on behalf of Pallas, contributed an article on the legal framework and practical aspects of EWCs in the Netherlands. Our contribution discusses the law, the relationship with works councils and trade unions, and the challenges faced by Dutch multinationals in practice.

Read the full newsletter at ILLN.eu and discover how EWC frameworks are evolving across Europe, and what opportunities this creates for both employers and employees.

By taking the time to understand a client’s situation and think alongside them, I can navigate the complexities of Dutch employment law to find a solution that works, both in the short and the long term. This enables me to guide clients with a clear focus on achieving the right outcome.
